Romantico Ristorante
This tiny, demure restaurant offers a simple setting and wonderful food. That large wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano in the center of the room, halved horizontally, scooped to create an open center, is where the house specialty fettuccine alla Romantico is prepared. It's a memory-making Alfredo-like encounter, made without butter or cream, and amazingly ethereal. Just as good are daily preparations of the fresh catch along with veal, pasta and chicken specialties. -- J.S.
